To train powerhitting and playing under pressure, the Tachyon Security Women's Super League 10 over competition has been played since 2023. In the past two weeks, the Northern Panthers, Southern Suns and Western Sharks all won one game.
At VRA The Panthers came to 65/4 in the available ten overs (Robine Rijke 29, Donna Polet 1-11). Thanks to Iris Zwilling's 49 not out, the Sharks (66/1) passed this score in 8.4 overs. Lize Vermeire took 1-10.
The 72/4 of the Western Sharks (Merel Dekeling 32, Lotte Schmidt 1-7) was not enough to beat the the Suns, who won mainly through Carlijn van Koolwijk’s (31*). Caroline de Lange took 1-2.

A winter full of Orange cricket!
Following our national women's team's successful participation in the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand, new major tournaments are already on the schedule for our national teams. In January, the Dutch women will play the T20 World Cup Qualifier in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The top four teams will qualify for the T20 World Cup in England in the summer of 2026. In February and March 2026, the Dutch men will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka. One of the top matches is the one in Ahmedabad on February 18, 2026, against host nation India.
