Young talents included in selection Dutch women's team
Published at 30 August, 2023From 4 to 13 September, the European T20 World Cup Qualifier will be held in Desert Springs (Spain). In addition to the 'usual suspects', young talents Myrthe van den Raad, Phebe Molkenboer, Carlijn van Koolwijk and Merel Dekeling are included in the squad. Frédérique Overdijk is recovering from recent surgery.
The Netherlands will play Scotland, Italy and France in Spain. All matches can be followed live via ICC.TV. The two best teams will qualify for the Global T20 World Cup Qualifier that will be played early 2024 (venue yet to be communicated).

In terms of fixtures, 2023 has been the busiest summer for them. We hosted Thailand, Scotland, Ireland and Jersey for ODI, T20I and T10 Series. Furthermore, all national players have been part of the inaugural Dutch Women’s Super League, where three regional women’s teams took part in competitive T10 and T20 leagues.
