- Netherlands women beat Namibia

The Netherlands women (95/4/17.1) came back strong against Namibia (91/8) after a tough loss to Ireland two days earlier.
Batting second, Sterre Kalis found a new opening partner in Denise van Deventer. The pair put up a partnership of 40 with van Deventer playing a good supporting role again before getting out for 11. When Kalis and Babette de Leede got out in quick succession and with the scoring rate dropping, Heather Siegers took control. Hitting five boundaries in the 14th over, she made sure the Dutch would cruise home with 17 balls to spare.
It was also Siegers with a wicket on the second ball of the first innings who put Namibia under pressure straight away. Although a bit expensive, she claimed 3 wickets for 27 runs. Iris Zwilling was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for just 11 runs in her 4 overs. Eva Lynch made the team for the first time this tournament, picking up 1 wicket for 17 runs. Some good catches and a smart stumping from De Leede made sure the Namibia innings never really got going.
Namibia 91/8. Zwilling 3-11/4, Siegers 3-27/4, Lynch 1-17/4, Bennett 1-21/4
Netherlands 95/4/17.1. Kalis 34(38), Siegers 21(8, 5x4)
