- Two centuries in women's final; Quick (Hg) defeats The Hague All Stars

The women of Quick have won their first 40-over national title since 2019! In a final with excellent cricket, the ladies put down no less than 295 runs, with a big century for Robine Rijke. That monster score proved to be too much for The Hague All Stars, although they played well and a century was also made on this side, by Phebe Molkenboer.
Quick won the toss and opted to bat. Annemijn Thomson (43) and Luisa Ekelmans (37) provided a good foundation with a partnership of 62 runs for the second wicket. That was later surpassed by Frédérique Overdijk, who remained unbeaten with 55, and the woman in top form Robine Rijke, who made a beautiful century and was eventually bowled for 116 runs. 133 was the partnership for the fourth wicket; Quick's monster score was 295 after the available forty overs. Robin Schmidt held her own with 2-33 in the All Stars attack.
Just like in the run-rich men's finals in the Topklasse and Hoofdklasse League, the opponent took up the gauntlet. On 39/2, Phebe Molkenboer (a fantastic 107) and Merel Dekeling (76) showed excellent batting and running. 159 runs for the third wicket was the result.
Although it wasn't enough in the end, the All Stars made a big impression. With 241/8 the ladies could leave the field with their heads held high. In Quick's attack, captain Caroline de Lange (3-50) had the best figures. Keeper Floor van den Berg had two stumpings and a catch, contributing to Quick's seventh Dutch title in this format.
