- Dutch cricketer Brandon Glover moves to Durham Cricket

Amstelveen, The Netherlands, February 2, 2023 -- Dutch international Brandon Glover has signed a contract at Durham Cricket for two years.
The 25-year-old fastbowler, until recently active at Northamptonshire, has played eight One Day Internationals so far, in which he took eight wickets. In addition, he played 24 T20 matches, in which he took 37 wickets against an average of only 14.62.
His most recent performance was in the match against South Africa at the T20 World Cup in November 2022. Glover - born in Johannesburg -- took three wickets for nine runs in two overs: Rossouw, Parnell and Miller. Partly as a result of that performance, the Netherlands recorded a historic victory over South Africa, qualifying directly for the next World Cup T20 that will be held in the United States and the West Indies in 2024.
Brandon comments: “I’m very excited to be joining Durham, it presents a new opportunity in a county with a seriously high calibre of players… the captain of England being one of them. So I look forward to not only performing for them, but learning alongside. It’s awesome to be playing back under Ryan Campbell who I’ve had good success with over the years as well. I feel like it’s the perfect place to take my cricket forward.”
