- Dutch women's squad announced for T20 World Cup

The KNCB has announced the fifteen players who will participate in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England and Wales, which will start on June 14. Prior to the World Cup, the Netherlands will play a T20I TriSeries in Scotland against Bangladesh and the host country.
Netherlands Women’s Head Coach Neil MacRae: “The Netherlands have selected a World Cup Squad which blends youth and experience in a squad which has performed consistently well during ICC World Cup Qualifying Tournaments and the ICC Emerging Nations Tournament in the past twelve months. Babette de Leede captains the squad which will compete at the ICC T-20 World Cup for the first time. The players are looking forward to an exciting group and the opportunity to compete with the top ICC nations.”
Captain Babette de Leede: “We are super excited for our first ever appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup. It will be a great opportunity to compete with the best teams in the world, and to show the talent that we have in the Netherlands on the big stage. We hope to make the Dutch cricket community proud and to inspire young girls in the Netherlands. Because the T20 World Cup is played close to our home, in England, we expect a big orange crowd and a lot of support. It will be an experience of a lifetime, not just for us as a team, but also for our families, friends, and everyone who has Dutch women’s cricket at heart.”
KNCB CEO Huib van Walsem: “On behalf of the KNCB and the entire Dutch cricket community who will be following you closely, I would like to congratulate the Dutch Women’s Cricket Team on qualifying for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. This outstanding achievement is a testament to your talent, discipline, and belief in one another. You are not only representing the Netherlands on the world stage, but also inspiring the next generation of female cricketers to dream big and compete fearlessly. We will be cheering you on every step of the way, and we encourage all supporters to join the Orange crowd in England during the tournament. No one has forgotten the famous upset created by the Dutch men in the opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup against England on 5 June 2009 at Lord’s - I was there myself. You can create that same kind of surprise. Believe in it. Best of luck, and enjoy this adventure to the fullest. You have truly earned it.”
