Many world-class athletes are present at the ILT20. The teams of the Dutch are all led by experienced West Indians. For example, De Leede's team is led by west Indian veteran Kieron Pollard. Among others, Dwayne Bravo and Trent Boult will be Bas' teammates. Brandon Glover's team is also led by a West Indian: Sunil Narine, whilst Klaassen's team has Rovman Powell as captain.
In the competition, all six teams will play eachother twice. The top four will make the playoffs.
After that, there will be an eliminator and two qualifiers – just like in the IPL – to determine the two finalists.
